Benjamin Holmes, D.C., Ph.D., is a Chiropractor and Assistant Professor of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation with extensive training in outpatient spinal therapeutics. Dr. Holmes specializes in care for mechanical back and neck pain as well as for posture- and sports-related myofascial pain, synthesizing passive and active care techniques.

As the first Chiropractor at Mayo Clinic, Dr. Holmes pioneered the integration of chiropractic into the clinic's multispecialty spine program. He combines passion for patient care with enthusiasm for research and has received two grants since joining the program, aimed at improving spinal healthcare in low-resource settings both locally and abroad. He has also lectured nationally and internationally on:
