Biographical summary
Dr. Hillerson is a full-time cardiac intensivist, trained in both Cardiovascular Disease and Critical Care Medicine. He specializes in treating acute cardiovascular disease and other forms of critical illness. He is passionate about helping patients and their families transition back to a normal life after their critical illness and has developed a unique multidisciplinary clinic with this specific focus. He also has advanced training in echocardiography, including stress and transesophageal echocardiography. His research projects are aimed at better understanding utilization of mechanical circulatory support and how to improve cardiac arrest and shock survivorship.
