Wilson's Disease

Overview

Wilson's disease occurs when too much copper accumulates in your liver, red blood cells and brain. The disease can affect many different organs. Also known as hepatolenticular degeneration, Wilson's disease is a rare, inherited disorder that can lead to life-threatening illness.
