Check with your doctor right away if you have a cough, difficulty with swallowing, dizziness, fast heartbeat, hives, itching, puffiness or swelling of the eyelids or around the eyes, face, lips or tongue, skin rash, tightness in the chest, or unusual tiredness or weakness. These could be symptoms of an allergic reaction to the vaccine.
Fainting may occur while you are receiving this vaccine.
The tip caps of the prefilled syringes contains dry natural rubber (a derivative of latex), which may cause allergic reactions in people who are sensitive to latex.
It is important that your doctor should know about all other vaccines you or your child have recently received, including a flu shot.
This vaccine may not protect everyone who receives it.
