Hepatitis C infection usually produces no signs or symptoms during its earliest stages. When signs and symptoms do occur, they may include:

  • Fatigue
  • Fever
  • Nausea or poor appetite
  • Muscle and joint pains
  • Yellowing of the skin and whites of the eyes (jaundice)
