My name's Dr. Kevin Paul Landolfo. I serve as the chair of cardiothoracic surgery. So the first thing that we try to do is to have the patients understand that this is about them. And so together through that process, we partner. I partner with patients to move them through this journey.

Increasingly, we are now looking at doing operations through smaller and smaller incisions that allow patients to recover more quickly and spend less time in the hospital. So for me, the ability to take a complex problem and apply a surgical solution is a tremendous source of satisfaction and gratification for me.
