She is passionate about medical education with experience as program director of integrative cardiology and associate program director of cardiovascular diseases at a prior institution, continuing to work closely with trainees in scholarly pursuits, mentoring and teaching. She works closely with the American College of Cardiology and American Heart Association for sports and exercise cardiology initiatives and is interested in advocacy efforts for CPR training and access to AEDs and cardiovascular care of the tactical athlete (police, military, fire, etc).
