Biographical summary
Dr. John Evans is a board-certified specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He completed his internship at Walter Reed Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. He then served as a Naval Flight Surgeon, where he cared for American and International aviators at Naval Aviation Schools Command in Pensacola, FL. Dr. Evans completed his PM&R residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.
Dr. Evans has a special interest in holistic, non-surgical musculoskeletal and neurologic care by providing rehabilitation plans, botulinum toxin injections, ultrasound guided injections, dry needling, and osteopathic manipulative therapy. He has a special interest in evaluating and treating patients with functional impairments related to complex medical conditions, neurologic diseases, and movement disorders. He is dedicated to establishing a strong relationship with his patients and their families, which is paramount to maximizing recovery.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Evans enjoys spending time with his family, mentoring military servicemembers and medical students, playing sports, and learning about sports analytics and performance.
