This phase II trial compares the impact of subcutaneous (SC) nivolumab given in an in-home setting to an in-clinic setting on cancer care and quality of life. Currently, most drug-related cancer care is conducted in clinic type centers or hospitals which may isolate patients from family, friends and familiar surroundings for many hours per day. This separation adds to the physical, emotional, social, and financial burden for patients and their families. Traveling to and from medical facilities costs time, money, and effort and can be a disadvantage to patients living in rural areas, those with low incomes or poor access to transport. Studies have shown that cancer patients often feel more comfortable and secure being cared for in their own home environments. SC nivolumab in-home treatment may be safe, tolerable and/or effective when compared to in-clinic treatment and may reduce the burden of cancer and improve the quality of life in cancer patients. A Study to Evaluate the Safety, Tolerability and Effectiveness of V117957 in Subjects with Insomnia Associated with Alcohol Cessation Rochester, Minn. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety, tolerability and effectiveness of V117957, compared to placebo, in subjects with alcohol use disorder (AUD) who experience insomnia associated with alcohol cessation. A Study to Identify Discomforts Among Intensive Care Unit Patients Rochester, Minn. The primary purpose of this study is to assess and describe the contributing sources of discomfort(s) experienced by ICU patients utilizing the Discomforts Perceived by ICU Patients instrument, a modified version of the Inconforts des Patients de REAnimation questionnaire (IPREA). Analysis of the Cardiac, Aorta and Carotid Artery Walls for Hemodynamic Monitoring in the Intensive Care Unit Jacksonville, Fla. The primary aim of this study is to determine if biomechanical properties of cardiac and large arterial walls measured by ultrasound-based novel imaging technology correlate with hemodynamic parameters measured by other tools in the ICU. Determinants of Incident Stroke Cognitive Outcomes and Vascular Effects on Recovery (DISCOVERY) Rochester, Minn. The purpose o fthis study A total of 8,000 patients presenting to CPSs with acute-onset AIS, ICH or aSAH and no history of dementia will be enrolled within 6 weeks of stroke onset. All participants will undergo baseline screening for evidence of pre-stroke dementia. Those who pass baseline screening will complete a blood draw and a series of cognitive and functional assessments at baseline. Participants will undergo in-person (3-6 months, 18 months) and telephone (annual) follow-up visits for the duration of the study to assess for longitudinal cognitive and functional outcomes. In addition to Tier 1 procedures, at each in-person follow-up visit: Tier 2 participants will also undergo MRI scanning, comprehensive cognitive assessment batteries and longitudinal blood collection; and Tier 3 participants will also complete amyloid- and tau-PET/CT scans. Low Sodium Oxybate In Patients With Idiopathic Hypersomnia Jacksonville, Fla., Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of low sodium oxybate (LSO) on total sleep time as measured by 24-hour polysomnography. The secondary objective of this study is to evaluate the effect of low sodium oxybate on total sleep time as measured by Nestsense EEG earbuds, Axivity device, and patient sleep diary entries. An exploratory objective of this study is to evaluate the effect of low sodium oxybate on patient reported outcomes, micro/macro sleep stages, daily activity levels/steps, and degree of association between outcomes measured in the study. Study Of Zanzalintinib In Combination With Immuno-Oncology Agents In Participants With Solid Tumors Jacksonville, Fla., Rochester, Minn., Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz. This is a multicenter Phase 1b, open label, dose-escalation and cohort-expansion study, evaluating the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics (PK), preliminary antitumor activity, and effect of biomarkers of zanzalintinib administered alone, and in combination with nivolumab (doublet), nivolumab + ipilimumab (triplet) and nivolumab + relatlimab (triplet) in participants with advanced solid tumors. In the Expansion Stage, the safety and efficacy of zanzalintinib as monotherapy and in combination therapy will be further evaluated in tumor-specific Expansion Cohorts. A Study Of Point Of Care EEG Using Muse 2 For Delirium Detection Rochester, Minn. The purpose of this study is to determine the efficacy and acceptability of point of care EEG collected via the Muse 2 device for delirium detection in hospitalized older adults. A Study of a New Non-Invasive Method for Measuring Lung Elasticity in Healthy Volunteers Rochester, Minn. The purpose of this study is to test a new non-invasive technique may be used to assess patients with various lung disorders. A Study to Evaluate the Effectiveness and Safety of Remdesivir to Treat Coronavirus Disease 2019 in an Outpatient Setting Rochester, Minn. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effietiveness of remdesivir (RDV) in reducing the rate of of all-cause medically attended visits (MAVs; medical visits attended in person by the participant and a health care professional) or death in non-hospitalized participants with early stage coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and to evaluate the safety of RDV administered in an outpatient setting.
