Vein Clinic 概述

Mayo Clinic's campuses in Arizona, Florida and Minnesota each offer comprehensive vein care that is provided by highly trained doctors, advanced practice providers, and nurses who have access to current technology to diagnose and treat all aspects of venous disease.

Mayo Clinic's collaborative approach brings together the knowledge and expertise of specialists from vascular medicine, vascular surgery, interventional radiology, dermatology and diagnostic radiology. These experts are experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of varicose veins, spider veins, venous wounds, reconstruction of veins that have been closed due to clot, pelvic vein compression (May-Thurner) or reflux (pelvic congestion), and superior vena cava syndrome.

If you come to a Mayo Clinic vein clinic, you may undergo a duplex ultrasound evaluation, which is the standard diagnostic test for evaluation of varicose veins. You may also have a test in the vascular laboratory to evaluate the functional impact of your condition. Or you may need a CT scan or MRI. These tests help to identify the best treatment options for you. Your care team works with you to select an approach tailored to your needs.

Mayo Clinic offers a full range of treatment options for varicose veins, including liquid and foam sclerotherapy, endovenous thermal and nonthermal ablation, ambulatory phlebectomy, and, in some cases, surgical ligation and removal of veins. Treatments offered for other venous conditions include embolization of refluxing pelvic veins to treat pelvic pain, endovascular and surgical reconstruction or bypass of obstructed veins (such as the iliac veins and inferior vena cava or the renal vein), and complex IVC filter retrieval using laser extraction.
