1. Treatment Resistant Depression Subcallosal Cingulate Network

   Rochester, Minn.

   The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of bilateral stimulation of the SCCwm using the Infinity DBS system as an adjunctive treatment of non-psychotic unipolar Major Depression Disorder (MDD) for adults who are experiencing an Major Depressive Episode (MDE) with inadequate response to 4 or more antidepressant treatments.

   This study is designed to:
   -analyze effects of surgical treatment
   -improve surgical care and quality of life of patients with hip problems/diseases
   -ID predictors of surgical outcomes to identify/improve future treatments
   -Collect data, images, from patients undergoing surgical treatment of hip disorders (we will not be collecting social security numbers to send to Washington University).

5. A Study To Evaluate Mesenchymal Stem Cells For Reducing Anastomotic Stenosis

   The purpose of this study is evaluate the safety of allogeneic adipose derived mesenchymal stem cell (AMSC) use during hemodialysis arteriovenous fistula and arterial bypass creation and its effectiveness on improving access maturation and primary anastomotic patency.

6. Patient-Centered Outcomes In The Surgical Treatment Of Uterovaginal Prolapse

   Jacksonville, Fla., Rochester, Minn.

   The purpose of this study is to compare two types of surgery for the treatment of uterovaginal prolapse to determine which surgery works best from a patient's perspective and has the lowest number of short-term and long-term complications.

7. STAR Trial (Siegel Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement In Patients With Symptomatic Severe Aortic Stenosis)

   Jacksonville, Fla., Rochester, Minn.

   To evaluate the safety and efficacy of Siegel™ TAVR System in the treatment of subjects with symptomatic severe native aortic stenosis.

8. BoxX-NoAF Clinical Trial

   Rochester, Minn.

   Post Operative Atrial Fibrillation (POAF) is the most common complication of cardiac surgery. POAF incidence can exceed 50% depending on the patient baseline characteristics and surgery type. Patients with POAF tend to have worse acute and long-term clinical outcomes. BoxX-NoAF is a randomized trial to evaluate if prophylactic ablation and exclusion of the Left Atrial Appendage at the time of other routine cardiac surgery can reduce the incidence of post operative AF and clinical AF during long term follow up in patients who have not yet developed AF but are at risk.

9. A Study to Establish a Pediatric Spine Registry

   Rochester, Minn., Minneapolis, Minn.

   The purpose of this study is to collect data about patients with chest wall and spinal deformities to develop a multicenter registry.  This will speed the pace of medical advancement and treatment recommendations for these conditions. 

10. A Study to Analyze Intracerebral Hemorrhage Hematoma

    The purpose of this study is to to take the usual waste material from the removal of hematoma and apply an array of -Omics approaches (including for example genomics, transcriptomics, lipidomics, proteomics, and metabolomics) to identify biomarkers that assess prognosis and identify key therapeutic targets.
