Medical training

At Mayo Clinic's Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine, students train with more than 200 staff physicians, including approximately 40 critical care anesthesiologists, and more than 200 nurse anesthetists. Each staff member is committed to teaching the best care possible for patients requiring anesthesia, intensive care and pain management.
