1. A Study of Safety, Tolerability, Pharmacokinetic and Pharmacodynamics (PK/PD) in Patients With Hematologic Malignancies

   Rochester, Minn., Jacksonville, Fla., Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz.

   The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and tolerability of APG-2575 as well as dose escalation and dose expansion stages.

2. A Study to Compare Two Surgical Procedures in Women With BRCA1 Mutations to Assess Reduced Risk of Ovarian Cancer

   Rochester, Minn.

   This trial studies how well two surgical procedures (bilateral salpingectomy and bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy) work in reducing the risk of ovarian cancer for women with BRCA1 mutations. Bilateral salpingectomy involves the surgical removal of fallopian tubes, and bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy involves the surgical removal of both the fallopian tubes and ovaries. This study may help doctors determine if the two surgical procedures are nearly the same for ovarian cancer risk reduction for women with BRCA1 mutations.

3. (Z)-Endoxifen For The Treatment Of Premenopausal Women With ER+/HER2- Breast Cancer

   Rochester, Minn., Jacksonville, Fla., Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz.

   This open-label research study is studying (Z)-endoxifen as a possible treatment for pre-menopausal women with ER+/HER2- breast cancer. (Z)-endoxifen belongs to a group of drugs called selective estrogen receptor modulators or "SERM", which help block estrogen from attaching to cancer cells. This study has two parts: a pharmacokinetic part and a treatment part.
   
   The PK part (how the body processes the drug) will enroll about 18 participants. All participants will take (Z)-endoxifen capsules daily. Twelve participants will be randomly assigned (50/50 chance) to take (Z)-endoxifen alone or (Z)-endoxifen with a monthly injection of goserelin a drug that temporarily stops the ovaries from making estrogen. This part will help determine the best dose of (Z)-endoxifen by measuring the drug levels in the blood and how long the body takes to remove it.
   
   The Treatment Cohort has been simplified to a single study arm (Z)-endoxifen + goserelin. Up to 20 participants will be enrolled that have a baseline Ki-67 ≤ 10% and 45 participants will be enrolled that have a baseline Ki-67\>10%.
   
   A key goal of the study is to see if (Z)-endoxifen can slow down or stop tumor growth as measured by a reduction in Ki-67 levels. Tumor tissue samples will be taken by breast biopsy after about 4 weeks of treatment to check levels of this biomarker. If the tumor shows signs of response, participants can continue treatment for up to 24 weeks or until they have surgery.
   
   Study participation is up to 6 months (24 weeks of treatment) followed by surgery and a one-month follow up visit.

4. Social Determinants Of Migrant Health Factors Impacting Prostate Cancer Care And Survivorship Among Sub-Saharan African And Caribbean Immigrant Men

   Rochester, Minn.

   This study is being done to understand what social factors affect health decisions for those who have immigrated from another country by examining how the immigration from Sub-Sahara Africa affects the experiences of participants regarding health-seeking behaviors, care, and treatment of prostate cancer. It also examines similarities and differences among participants based on their region of origin in Africa.

5. Turkey Tail Mushroom For Treating Post-Menopausal Women With HER2-Negative ER-Positive Breast Cancer Undergoing Surgery

   Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz.

   This phase II trial tests how well turkey tail mushroom (TTM) works in treating post-menopausal women with HER2-negative, estrogen receptor (ER)-positive breast cancer undergoing surgery. TTM is a common mushroom. In traditional Chinese medicine, it is used for enhancing function and removing toxins, as well as for cancer, hepatitis, and infections. There is previous evidence of significant tumor shrinkage occurring in the 2-month window between diagnosis and surgery in women who have taken TTM. Giving TTM may be effective in treating post-menopausal women with HER2-negative, ER-positive breast cancer undergoing surgery.

6. Changes in Blood Components in Patients with Ovarian Cancer

   Rochester, Minn.

   The purpose of this study is to assemble a collection of serial plasma biospecimens from women with ovarian, primary peritoneal, or fallopian tube cancer for future research projects to identify changes in levels of various plasma components that occur during the course of ovarian cancer, including changes that occur with debulking surgery, chemotherapy, disease relapse, and subsequent therapy.

7. Effect of Agent Orange Exposure on Endocrine Tumor Aggressiveness

   Jacksonville, Fla., Rochester, Minn., Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz.

   The intent is to collect relevant clinical data on patients exposed to Agent Orange plus assessment of the tissue for genetic mutations known to be associated with growth of thyroid cancer and pituitary tumors and report our findings as a descriptive case series.

8. A Study of Nab-Paclitaxel as Maintenance Treatment After Cisplatin-Based Chemotherapy and Surgery for Patients with High-Risk Bladder Cancer

   Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz.

   The purpose of this study is to evaluate nab-paclitaxel as maintenance therapy after cisplatin-based chemotherapy and surgery in treating patients with high-risk bladder cancer. Maintenance therapy, such as paclitaxel albumin-stabilized nanoparticle formulation, can help keep cancer from coming back after it has disappeared following initial chemotherapy.

9. First-in-Human Study of XMT-1536 in Cancers Likely to Express NaPi2b

   Rochester, Minn., Jacksonville, Fla.

   The primary objective of this study is to determine the confirmed investigator-assessed objective response rate of XMT-1536 (upifitamab rilsodotin) in patients with higher sodium-dependent phosphate transport protein 2b (NaPi2b) expressing platinum-resistant high-grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC), including cancers of ovarian, fallopian tube or primary peritoneal origin)

   Note: Mayo Clinic is only participating in the Phase 2 - Cohort 3 (UPLIFT) portion of the study. Mayo Clinic will not be participating in the QTC sub-study.

    

10. Patient Outcomes after Hepatic Artery Infusion Pump Placement

    The purpose of this study is to evaluate the short-term outcomes and the quality of life (QOL) after cholecystectomy and hepatic artery infusion pump placement for localized unresectable colorectal liver metastases (CRLM).
