1. A Study to Evaluate Sleep for Stroke Management and Recovery

   Rochester, Minn.

   The purpose of this study is to determine whether treatment of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) with positive airway pressure starting shortly after acute ischemic stroke or high risk TIA (1) reduces recurrent stroke, acute coronary syndrome, and all-cause mortality 6 months after the event, and (2) improves stroke outcomes at 3 months in patients who experienced an ischemic stroke.

2. Pre-operative Vs. Post-operative Radiosurgery For Metastatic Brain Tumors

   Rochester, Minn., Jacksonville, Fla., Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz.

   The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is an increase in the time of a first occurrence of either: local recurrence, leptomeningeal disease, or symptomatic radiation brain necrosis in patients with brain metastases who receive SRS prior to surgery as compared to patients who receive surgery prior to SRS.

    

3. A Phase 3 Efficacy and Safety Study of Pitolisant in Patients with Prader-Willi Syndrome

   The purpose of this study is to evaluate the impact of pitolisant on Excessive daytime sleepiness in patients with Prader-Willi syndrome.

4. A Study to Evaluate Rozanolixizumab to Treat Patients with Generalized Myasthenia Gravis

   Rochester, Minn.

   The purpose of this study is to assess the safety, tolerability, and effectiveness of additional 6-week treatment cycles with Rozanolixizumab in study participants with generalized myasthenia gravis.

5. A Study of Multicenter Outcomes in Pediatric Status Epilepticus

   Rochester, Minn.

   The purpose of this study is to develop a prospective status epilepticus registry among twelve tertiary care pediatric hospitals in the United States focused on standardizing status epilepticus outcome assessments.

6. Detection of Vascular and Inflammatory Plasma Biomarkers in Patients Diagnosed with Obstructive Sleep Apnea and MRI-defined Cerebral Small Vessel Disease

   Jacksonville, Fla.

   The purpose of this study is to evaluate plasma biomarkers of vascular function and inflammation in patients with newly-diagnosed Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) and pre-existing imaging evidence of Cerebral Small Vessel Disease (CSVD).

7. ARTFL LEFFTDS Longitudinal Frontotemporal Lobar Degeneration (ALLFTD)

   Rochester, Minn., Jacksonville, Fla.

   The purpose of this study is to evaluate sporadic (s-) and familial (f-) frontotemporal lobar degeneration (FTLD) patients and asymptomatic family members of f-FTLD patients, characterizing the cohorts longitudinally and informing clinical trial design.  FTLD is a neurodegenerative disorder of the nervous system which there are no approved treatments or cures.

   The study has two arms: a “longitudinal arm” involving a comprehensive assessment of clinical, functional, imaging, and biofluid data collection, and a “biofluid-focused arm” involving limited clinical data to accompany biospecimen collection.

8. Image-based Mapping of Brain Tumors

   Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz., Rochester, Minn.

   The purpose of this study is to combine MRI images with histologic and genetic analysis of cancer (from blood and tissue samples) to improve the overall accuracy of diagnosis and effectiveness of cancer treatment.

    

9. A Study of Early-onset Alzheimer's Disease

   Rochester, Minn., Jacksonville, Fla.

   The purpose of this Longitudinal Early-onset Alzheimer's Disease Study (LEADS) is designed to look at disease progression in individuals with early onset cognitive impairment . Clinical/cognitive, imaging, biomarker, and genetic characteristics will be assessed across three cohorts: (1) early onset Alzheimer's Disease (EOAD) participants, (2) early onset non-Alzheimer's Disease (EO-nonAD) participants,and (3) cognitively normal (CN) control participants.

10. A Registry Called Every Child for Collecting Data and Biology Specimens on Younger Patients with Cancer

    Rochester, Minn.

    The purpose of this registry called Every Child, is to collect data and biospecimens from multiple body sources for younger patients with cancer over time. Gathering health information over time from younger patients with cancer may help doctors find better methods of treatment and on-going care.
