Grace Lin, M.D., M.B.A.

Dr. Grace Lin is an advanced heart failure cardiologist and echocardiographer at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. She is a Professor of Medicine and serves as Chair of the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine.

She specializes in the diagnosis and management of advanced heart failure, with expertise spanning complex cardiovascular conditions including cardiac complications of cancer treatments, cardio-oncology, cardiac amyloidosis and treatment-resistant heart failure syndromes. Her clinical practice integrates advanced imaging and comprehensive care strategies to improve outcomes for patients with complex heart disease.

As a nationally recognized heart failure specialist and leader in cardiac amyloidosis research, Dr. Lin also cares for patients referred from throughout the Southeastern United States, the country and around the world for advanced cardiovascular evaluation and treatment. She has implemented heart failure care delivery models focused on delivering in-home care, with the aim of reducing days in hospitals for patients with advanced heart failure.

Her expertise extends beyond clinical care into health policy and healthcare delivery innovation. She was awarded the prestigious Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Health Policy Fellowship and served for one year in the Congressional Budget Office.

Dr. Lin has an extensive research portfolio focused on improving diagnosis, risk stratification, and treatment of cardiovascular disease, particularly in cardiac amyloidosis and heart failure. Her work includes:
