Proper Use

A nurse or other trained health professional will give you or your child this medicine in a hospital or clinic. This medicine is given through an IV catheter that is placed into one of your veins. The medicine must be injected slowly, so the IV will need to stay in place for at least 60 minutes. It is usually given every other week.

You or your child may also receive other medicines (eg, allergy medicine, steroids) before starting treatment with this medicine.
