Sofosbuvir is used in combination with ribavirin (Copegus®, Rebetol®) with or without injectable peginterferon alfa (Pegasys®, Pegintron®) to treat chronic hepatitis C infection in adults and children 3 years of age and older (including patients with or without cirrhosis).
