Proper Use

A nurse or other trained health professional will give you this medicine in a hospital or clinic. This medicine is given through a needle placed in one of your veins. It must be given slowly, so the needle will remain in place for a few hours (up to 2 hours or longer).

Your doctor may also give you methotrexate and folic acid or folinic acid supplements at least 4 weeks before starting and during treatment with this medicine.

You may also receive medicines (eg, antihistamines, corticosteroids) to help prevent possible allergic reactions to the injection.

This medicine is usually given every 2 weeks. If you miss a dose or forget to receive your medicine, call your doctor for instructions.

This medicine should come with a Medication Guide. Read and follow the instructions carefully. Ask your doctor if you have any questions.
