Biographical summary
Rish K Pai, M.D., Ph.D. is an anatomic pathologist with subspecialty expertise in gastrointestinal and hepatic pathology. His clinical focus includes:
- Expertise in diagnosis of inflammatory disorders of the gastrointestinal tract and liver
- Expertise in diagnosis of neoplastic diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and liver
In addition to his clinical activities, Dr. Pai is active in research and education. Dr. Pai lectures nationally and internationally on many aspects of gastrointestinal and hepatic pathology and has directed multiple GI and Liver pathology continuing medical education courses. Dr. Pai is also the principal investigator of the Colon Cancer Family Registry at Mayo Clinic.
