Flora R. Howie, M.D., is a developmental-behavioral pediatrician, with specialty interest in autism. Her clinical focus includes:

  • Expertise in evaluation and management of autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities such as ADHD, cognitive delay, or genetic syndromes.
  • Care for patients from infancy to 18 years of age.
  • Providing care in Mayo Clinic Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics for comprehensive family centered care.
  • Listening to patients and determining their parent's concerns and expectations in order to develop the best management plan for the family.

In addition to her clinical activities, Dr. Howie is active in advocacy, research and education, providing mentorship to residents and fellows.
