Research

Mayo Clinic doctors and researchers in gastroenterology and hepatology study new ways to prevent, detect and treat precancerous colon polyps, such as tubular adenomas.

This work is part of Mayo Clinic's broader colorectal cancer prevention and genetics research. Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center receives funding from the National Cancer Institute and is designated as a comprehensive cancer center.
