Want to strengthen your abs? Try a plank

Knee and forearm plank

A top move for building your core that's all about form.

  1. Lie on the floor facing the mat, knees bent and forearms flat.
  2. Rest your weight on your knees and forearms.
  3. Your elbows should be directly under your shoulders.
  4. Engage your core, keep a neutral spine and hold the position.
  5. Hold for 30 to 60 seconds.
  6. Repeat 2 to 3 times.
