Give your obliques the wood chop workout

Kneeling wood chop

Real-life moves like this one call on multiple muscles to strengthen and stabilize.

  1. Anchor your resistance band overhead and kneel on your right knee with the band on your left.
  2. Grasp both ends of the band near your left shoulder.
  3. Pull the band across your body from your left shoulder down to your right hip.
  4. Release the band back to the high position.
  5. Keep your core engaged as you pull the band down then release up.
  6. Repeat 12 chops on each side for up to 3 sets.
