Megha Tollefson, M.D., is a pediatric dermatologist, board certified in pediatrics, dermatology, and pediatric dermatology. She has expertise in complex pediatric dermatologic conditions.

Dr. Tollefson's clinical dermatology practice focuses on treating pediatric and adolescent patients, with particular interest in infantile hemangiomas, vascular anomalies, pediatric psoriasis, and pediatric atopic dermatitis. In the Department of Dermatology, she is involved in the Hidradenitis Suppurativa and Vascular Malformations/Hemangioma Specialty Clinics. Her current research focuses on: treatment and outcomes of vascular malformations, eczema, and other inflammatory pediatric skin conditions.

Dr. Tollefson is a member of many professional organizations within pediatrics and dermatology. She has also been recognized for her practice, research, and education activities, including honors from Minnesota Magazine as a Legacy Top Doctor, the American Academy of Dermatology, the Society of Pediatric Dermatology, and Mayo Medical School. She currently serves as the Senior Associate Dean for Admissions in the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine and as the Senior Associate Dean, Medical & Lab Specialties, in the Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education.

Dr. Tollefson attended medical school at Mayo Medical School. She completed both her pediatric and adolescent medicine residency and dermatology residency at Mayo Clinic, then completed a pediatric dermatology fellowship at Stanford University.
