Mira Keddis is a consultant and associate professor of Medicine in the Division of Nephrology and Hypertension at the Mayo Clinic in AZ. Her two primary responsibilities are clinical practice and education.

Her clinical and research expertise includes:

  1. Kidney stone management with special interest in individualized approach in evaluation and management through metabolic and genetic evaluation. She has been the co-director of the Multi-disciplinary Stone Clinic at Mayo Clinic Arizona since 2014.
  2. Individualized approach in management of kidney stone disease in patients with bowel disorders/surgeries
  3. Kidney stone management for patients after kidney transplantation
  4. Cardiovascular risk assessment for kidney transplant candidates
  5. Investigation of risk factors and treatment approach of oxalate nephropathy and hyperoxaluria contributing to kidney disease and kidney stones
  6. Care delivery and treatment management of the Indigenous Americans before and after kidney transplant
