Dr. Edgar is an Anatomic Pathologist and Neuropathologist with 25 years of experience at major academic medical centers and cancer centers across the country. His areas of clinical interest include:
- Diagnosis of bone and soft tissue tumors using molecular techniques for classification
- Classification of diagnostically challenging spindle cell tumors from a variety of organs and tissue types
- Identifying and classifying benign conditions that may mimic malignancy under the microscope
- Intraoperative diagnosis of tumors of the brain and spinal cord
- General surgical pathology including breast and gynecologic pathology
