Passion for the River
From 1910 to 1938, Dr. William J. Mayo owned a series of three grand riverboats. Each represented the Mayo family values of hospitality, fellowship and generosity. Mayo has produced a booklet documenting life on the Mississippi as the Mayo family experienced it. Complimentary booklets are available to Mayo Clinic patients, employees and friends.
