Soy milk is made from cooked, mashed and strained soybeans. Some evidence suggests that soy products may lower the risk of heart disease when substituted for similar animal-based products.

Ingredients

  1. 1 1/3 cups vanilla soy milk (soya milk), chilled
  2. 3 cups fat-free vanilla ice cream
  3. 6 chocolate wafer cookies, crushed

Directions

In a blender, combine soy milk and ice cream. Blend until smooth and frothy. Add cookies and pulse a few times to blend. Pour into tall, chilled glasses and serve immediately.
