Dr. Maryam Shahi joined the department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota in 2020. Dr. Shahi received her medical degree from Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences in Kermanshah, Iran. She completed Anatomic and Clinical Pathology residency and Cytopathology fellowship training at the University of Minnesota, Minnesota, followed by Oncologic Pathology and Gynecologic Pathology fellowships at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Johns Hopkins hospital, respectively. Dr. Shahi's interest is in tumors of female genital tract with focus on endometrial carcinoma as well as placental pathology.
