Side Effects

Along with its needed effects, a medicine may cause some unwanted effects. Although not all of these side effects may occur, if they do occur they may need medical attention.

Check with your doctor or nurse immediately if any of the following side effects occur:

More common

  1. Bloody eye
  2. blurred vision
  3. change in vision
  4. loss of vision
  5. redness of the eye

Less common

  1. Decrease in vision
  2. eye pain
  3. redness, swelling, or itching of the eyelid
  4. seeing floating dark spots or material before the eyes

Incidence not known

  1. Seeing flashes or sparks of light
  2. seeing floating spots before the eyes, or a veil or curtain appearing across part of vision
  3. tearing of the eyes

Other side effects not listed may also occur in some patients. If you notice any other effects, check with your healthcare professional.
