Easy, inexpensive scale identifies patients at risk of developing MCI
A new scoring system helps determine which patients may develop mild cognitive impairment (MCI) that can lead to dementia. Variables including age, diabetes, heart-health risk factors, slow gait, depression and anxiety disorders contribute to the risk score.
