  • If you smoke, quit.
  • Don't drink alcohol, or drink in moderation.
  • Don't use cocaine or other illegal drugs.
  • Eat a healthy diet.
  • Maintain a healthy weight.
  • Follow an exercise regimen recommended by your doctor.
