Bradycardia

Overview

When you have bradycardia, your heart beats more slowly than usual. If you are physically fit, your heart may pump enough blood to your body even if your heart rate is slow. If your signs and symptoms (fainting spells, fatigue, shortness of breath, for example) prompt you to see a Mayo Clinic doctor, however, you'll need an accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment to restore your heart to its normal rhythm.
