Luis R. Scott, MD, is Chair of the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Arizona and a Professor of Medicine at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. Dr. Scott is a Consultant in the Division of Heart Rhythm Services, where he practices as a staff cardiologist and electrophysiologist.

Dr. Scott's clinical expertise centers on invasive cardiac electrophysiology and device-based therapies. His areas of focus include:

  • Complex ablation procedures for atrial and ventricular arrhythmias
  • Epicardial approaches to ventricular tachycardia ablation
