Vincent Rajkumar, M.D., F.R.C.P.C., is a professor of medicine and an endowed professor of medicine at Mayo Clinic. He is a consultant in the Division of Hematology and the Division of Hematopathology at Mayo Clinic, where he chairs the Myeloma Amyloidosis Dysproteinemia Group. He received his medical degree from Madras University, Christian Medical College, and completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and his fellowship in hematology and oncology at Mayo Clinic.

Dr. Rajkumar has been involved in several clinical trials and research projects on multiple myeloma, amyloidosis, and related plasma cell disorders, and has published extensively on these topics with over 800 peer reviewed articles, abstracts, book chapters and editorials.

Dr. Rajkumar is a member of various professional societies, including the American Society of Hematology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the International Myeloma Working Group, which he co-chairs. He has received numerous honors and awards for his achievements in research, teaching, and patient care, such as the John Ultmann Lecture and Award, the Robert A. Kyle Lifetime Achievement Award, and the Distinguished Mayo Clinic Investigator Award.
