Biographical summary
Dr. John Moss specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary vascular and right heart conditions, with a clinical focus on pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH), hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia (HHT), and right heart failure. He has extensive expertise in right heart catheterization and works closely with patients to develop individualized treatment plans for complex cardiovascular and pulmonary conditions. By combining the latest advances in medicine with a compassionate, patient-centered approach, Dr. Moss helps patients navigate challenging diagnoses with confidence and clarity.
Dr. Moss believes that while medicine continues to advance through new technologies, diagnostic tools, and therapies, the foundation of exceptional care remains the relationship between physician and patient. As he explains, "The science of medicine is continuously changing. New technologies, new diagnostics, new therapies. The real impact in medicine continues to be the human connection. Trust in your physician is not replaceable by technology, and the patient-physician relationship should be paramount."
Dr. Moss is a member of the executive board of the American Lung Association in Jacksonville, Florida as well as a member of national societies, including American College of Chest Physicians and Pulmonary Hypertension Association.
Outside of work, Dr. Moss enjoys scuba diving, fishing, boating, cheering on the Jacksonville Jaguars, and spending time with his wife and two children.
