In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Kellogg has held several leadership roles that have helped shape bariatric and minimally invasive surgery programs at both the institutional and regional levels. He currently serves as co-chair of the Mayo Clinic Obesity Specialty Council. He previously served for eight years as director of the Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery Program and for eight years as director of the Minimally Invasive Surgery Fellowship Program. He also served as president of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) Minnesota State Chapter.
