I'm Asher Chanan-Khan, chair of Hematology and Oncology. My particular interest is in multiple myeloma and chronic lymphocytic leukemia. These diseases remain incurable today, but over the last 15 years that I've been part of this field, tremendous progress has been made. And I feel very fortunate to be a participant in those developments.

When I am with patients, that's one of the best times of my day. And I thoroughly enjoy being a person who's able to give and share those tough moments in their life and make them feel better.
