I'm Jeffrey Britton. I'm the chair of the epilepsy division at Mayo Clinic. My main areas of medical interest are the diagnosis and evaluation of patients with epilepsy. The patient is the only reason we exist here. We also want to make sure that they know that they're being listened to, that their concerns are important to us, that their concerns are the main focus of our evaluation and treatment. The best part of my job is helping patients through the very fearful experience with a very successful outcome at the end, so that they can look back in the mirror and say, boy, I look what I went through then, now look at me.
