Dizziness in adults

When to seek medical advice

Get emergency medical care if you experience dizziness after a head injury or if the dizziness is accompanied by:

Sudden, severe headache
Chest pain
Difficulty breathing
Numbness or weakness
Fainting
Blurred or double vision
Rapid or irregular heartbeat
Confusion or trouble talking
Nausea
Stumbling or difficulty walking
