Side Effects

Along with its needed effects, a medicine may cause some unwanted effects. Although not all of these side effects may occur, if they do occur they may need medical attention.

Check with your doctor immediately if any of the following side effects occur:

Incidence not known

  1. Pain, redness, or swelling in the arm or leg
  2. trouble breathing

Get emergency help immediately if any of the following symptoms of overdose occur:

Symptoms of overdose

  1. Blurred vision
  2. headache
  3. seizures
  4. slurred speech
  5. sudden and severe inability to speak
  6. temporary blindness
  7. weakness in the arm or leg on one side of the body, sudden and severe

Some side effects may occur that usually do not need medical attention. These side effects may go away during treatment as your body adjusts to the medicine. Also, your health care professional may be able to tell you about ways to prevent or reduce some of these side effects. Check with your health care professional if any of the following side effects continue or are bothersome or if you have any questions about them:

  1. Gum or mouth irritation

  1. Bad, unusual, or unpleasant (after) taste
  2. bleeding gums
  3. blemishes on the skin
  4. breast pain
  5. change in taste
  6. cough
  7. crying
  8. depersonalization
  9. diarrhea
  10. discouragement
  11. dizziness
  12. dry mouth
  13. dysphoria
  14. enlarged breasts
  15. euphoria
  16. fear or nervousness
  17. feeling sad or empty
  18. gum pain or blisters
  19. hoarseness
  20. indigestion
  21. irritability
  22. itching skin
  23. loss of appetite
  24. loss of interest or pleasure
  25. lower back or side pain
  26. mouth ulcers
  27. nausea
  28. noisy breathing
  29. painful or difficult urination
  30. paranoia
  31. passing of gas
  32. pounding in the ears
  33. quick to react or overreact emotionally
  34. rapidly changing moods
  35. redness and swelling of the gums
  36. slow or fast heartbeat
  37. stinging of the lips
  38. stomach cramps, pain, fullness, or discomfort
  39. swelling of the gums
  40. swelling of the nose
  41. tiredness
  42. toothache
  43. trouble concentrating
  44. trouble sleeping
  45. unusual tiredness or weakness
  46. vomiting
