Greater than 87%‡ of patients were discharged directly to their homes following their spine procedure at Mayo Clinic in 2019. Less than 13% were discharged to a skilled nursing or nonhome facility.

Our spine care program has 36 physicians and researchers in Rochester, Minnesota (18), Phoenix and Scottsdale, Arizona (9), and Jacksonville, Florida (9), across seven specialties (neurosurgery, orthopedic spine surgery, pain medicine, physiatry, spinal cord rehabilitation, neurology and neuroradiology). This is within an organization that focuses on multidisciplinary team-based care and is home to over 4,000 physicians in Rochester, Minnesota, Phoenix and Scottsdale, Arizona, and Jacksonville, Florida.
