Biographical summary
Michael E. Wolf, M.D., M.S., is a Senior Associate Consultant in the Division of Preventive, Occupational, and Aerospace Medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Dr. Wolf earned his medical degree at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and Master of Science in Health Informatics from the Medical University of South Carolina. He completed his residency training in Occupational Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, Perelman School of Medicine where he served as Chief Resident and completed post-graduate work as a Healthcare Business Fellow.
Prior to Mayo Clinic, Dr. Wolf practiced medicine in the U.S. Navy where his work included the primary, occupational, and aerospace medical care of military servicemembers and authorship of health economics papers and book chapters, aerospace health and safety policy, and a 2017 white paper which resulted in change to health benefits policy affecting 2.15M military service members.
Dr. Wolf is a member of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine where he serves as an elected delegate. His research interests are in the value-based analysis of the impact of technology to corporations, coordinated health systems, and to the individual health of the adult workforce. He is currently recognized as an Associate Fellow of the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics at the University of Pennsylvania.
