Dr. Yara Moustafa is a clinician, an educator and a researcher. Her primary areas of interest are Psychopharmacology, Neuroscience, Addiction and Aging. She is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She also has additional Board certifications in Hospice and Palliative Medicine and Addiction Medicine. She completed her Psychiatry Residency training at Saint Elizabeths/DBH and Fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Care at Mayo Clinic. She was awarded a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the Louisiana State University Health Sciences.
