Your risk of falling is higher after surgery. To help prevent a fall and a possible injury:

• Get up slowly.
• Use your walking aid, such as a walker or cane.
• Wear non-slip shoes.
• Make your home safer by using night lights and removing clutter and throw rugs from walking areas.
