Mayo Clinic GeneGuide
Mayo Clinic GeneGuide™

For Health Care Professionals

Mayo Clinic GeneGuide™ is a genetic testing product that was developed by Mayo Clinic physicians and experts. The product is designed to educate individuals, in partnership with their medical team, about how their genetic makeup can impact their overall health and wellness.

Mayo Clinic GeneGuide™ provides genetic interpretation of individual results while adding health insights through interactive education modules for disease risks, pharmacogenomics, carrier screening and health traits.

Results are viewed via a secure, interactive website. This gives individuals access to easy-to-understand genetic test results and educational materials. These materials are designed to help reveal the meaning and impact of genetics on individual health and well-being.

Interactive tools focused on family history, lifestyle and environmental factors are available to help individuals refine their overall health strategies. The Pedigree tool facilitates a visual pedigree, which can be downloaded and shared with a health care provider.

In addition, downloadable laboratory genetic test reports and discussion guides make it easy for individuals to have a dialogue with their physicians and families about specific genetic test results.

GENETIC TEST REPORTS THAT SUPPORT YOUR MEDICAL PRACTICE

Mayo Clinic GeneGuide™ provides a laboratory genetic test report for every user that can be printed or downloaded, making it easy to share with outside medical professionals.
