Dr. Shah is a clinician, researcher, and educator with a focus on non-malignant hematology with special interest in thrombosis in high risk populations such as cancer, organ transplant etc.

She strives to provide compassionate care to patients with benign hematological disorders where she partners with the patients in shared decision making to achieve patient's health goals.

Dr. Shah engages actively in teaching and mentoring medical students, residents and fellows on day to day basis. Dr. Shah is also actively engaged in research opportunities doing outcomes and implementation research with a focus on thrombotic complications in high risk patients.
