Garret W. Choby, M.D.

Garret W. Choby, M.D., is an otolaryngologist — head and neck surgeon who specializes in rhinology and endoscopic skull base surgery. His clinical focus includes:

  • Chronic rhinosinusitis
  • Revision endoscopic sinus surgery
  • Nasal polyposis, including aspirin exacerbated respiratory disease
  • Surgical treatment of sinonasal tumors, both benign and malignant
  • Skull base surgery, along with his neurosurgical colleagues
  • Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) rhinorrhea

In addition to his clinical activities, Dr. Choby is active in numerous areas of research including improving sinus surgery outcomes, assessing quality of life in patients undergoing transnasal endoscopic skull base surgery and technical innovations in endoscopic surgery. He serves on the education committee of the American Rhinologic Society and is actively engaged in surgical education and international medical mission work.
