Contact your health care provider or seek immediate medical care if you experience any of the following signs or symptoms of hip dislocation:

• Sudden, severe hip pain
• A change in the length of your leg
• Turning in or out of your leg without the ability to turn your toes straight up
• Obvious deformity of the hip joint, for example, your hips don’t look the same
• Being unable to put weight on your leg — if you were previously able to put weight on it
• Increased numbness or tingling of your leg
