Research

Mayo Clinic researchers are working to improve the diagnosis and treatment options for hip impingement. Projects are evaluating:

  • Minimally invasive (arthroscopic) surgical approaches to fix the labrum
  • Minimally invasive (arthroscopic) surgical approaches to repair the capsule
  • Clinical outcomes of surgeries to realign the angle of the joint
